ControlSphere is please to offer a CODESYS four-day Intensive Training which is targeted for experienced controls engineers transitioning to CODESYS, or for engineers wishing to take their knowledge of CODESYS to the next level. The training covers a broad spectrum of CODESYS IDE features, moves at a fast pace, and includes a detailed 600 page training document which is licensed for participants personal use during and after the class. The training includes hints, tricks, and best practices compiled from many years of experience with the CODESYS IDE. The training alternates between lecture and hands-on step-by-step labs, and each lab includes optional advanced exercises to challenge even the most experienced participants. The training also covers Object Oriented Industrial Programming (OOIP) as described in Control Engineering magazine and includes working examples of Discrete, Batch, and Continuous plants designed with OOIP (including plant simulators).
This class will be conducted by Mr. Gary L. Pratt, P.E. Mr. Pratt began his career in 1982 with Chevron Corporate Engineering, and recently retired as president of the CODESYS Corporation. He is an enthusiast and evangelist for both IEC61131-3 and CODESYS and has published many articles on the latest programming techniques enabled by IEC61131-3 and CODESYS. He also holds several patents in the area of Industrial Controls. Mr. Pratt has been teaching this course and refining the course material for many years with the goal of providing the most comprehensive and effective training on the subject available, and he is pleased to be able to share his knowledge and experience with the next generations of controls engineers
